In collaboration with PTR Inc., the report titled "Renewable Energy Targets, Challenges, and Solutions" provides an in-depth analysis of the current state of renewable energy across Africa. It highlights key challenges such as non-cost-reflective electricity tariffs, high transmission and distribution (T&D) losses, and a lack of private-sector investment.

While Africa holds abundant renewable resources like solar, wind, and hydro, a significant portion remains untapped due to these impediments. Leading African nations like Egypt, Nigeria, and South Africa have set ambitious renewable energy targets, yet achieving these goals remains difficult due to funding gaps and infrastructural challenges.
